Welcome to Woodstock Artworks, a unique gallery that features and sells quality reproduction prints from California artist Dave McMorran's original collection.
Dave's medium is cross hatch pen and ink with a color wash. His detailed style demands a closer look. Signature hidden faces are subtly incorporated in many of his renderings, the closer you look the more you will see.
Dave draws original works mostly from his imagination. His drawings are unlimited in themes. Works include seascapes, landscapes, portraits, Native American, African American, spiritual, Christmas, caricatures, wildlife, cowboy and western.
Drawing since the age of six, Dave is mainly self taught. However, he studied art at the University of California at Long Beach, Orange Coast College and Cuesta College. Dave incorporated his artistic talents in his residential construction business, drawing architectural designs and blue prints for his projects. He also was a vocational instructor for the California Department of Corrections utilizing his artistic talent and construction knowledge. Dave McMorran is now retired and expanding his art promotion through the internet.
